About synapse FAQ ID: #129
Q:

Are the pharmaceuticals provided the latest batches (with sufficient shelf life)?

A:

Yes. We implement rigorous inventory and procurement management to ensure that we always deliver products from the 'latest manufacturing batches' with a 'sufficient expiry date.'

Product Freshness and Quality Assurance

  • On-Demand Procurement for Maximum Freshness:

For many of our products, we utilize a 'Just-in-Time' procurement system, placing orders with manufacturers or authorized wholesalers only after your payment is confirmed. This eliminates the risk of shelf-life degradation due to long-term storage and ensures you receive the freshest lots currently available in the market.

  • Advance Verification of Expiry Dates

When you submit a 'Request Quote,' we verify the Expiry Date (EXP) of the currently available lots. This information can be provided during the quotation phase upon request.

  • Strict Quality Control (FEFO Principle):

For items held in our own inventory, we adhere to the international pharmaceutical standard of FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out). This ensures optimal stock rotation and maintains the highest standards of product freshness.

Advice for Our Users

  • Specific Shelf-Life Requirements: If your research project or long-term administration plan requires a specific minimum shelf life (e.g., 'at least 12 months remaining'), please specify this in the remarks section of your quotation request.

  • Inspection Upon Arrival: Always verify the 'EXP (Expiry Date)' and 'Batch/Lot No.' printed on the outer packaging and the immediate container of the delivered product.
